Robinia or False Accia Wood
Origin- Park Mill
Open to the Public
This tree stood out like a sore thumb in the Wildlife Trust reserve. The tree is not native and probably self seeded from a near by garden. Eventually it naturally died and was overshadowed by native surrounding trees.
There are lots of footpaths in and around the wooded area of Park Mill which are well worth a walk and explore. The tree was kindly donated by the local ranger who is a great supporter of traditional crafts and woodlands.
