Bow Back - Solid Elm Seats.

Below Left: Bow back with no stretchers between legs creating a lighter chair.

Below right: Bow back with leg stretchers turned on the pole lathe.

 

     

These chairs are made from cleft Ash sourced locally and fixed to a wonderfully comfortable hand carved elm seat. Components are left with knifed finish showing the hand made dedication that has been imbued into the chairs. The bows are from cleft Ash which is steam bent to shape.
