Schedule of courses 2010

 Information on courses can be found on the page 'General course information' in the catagory 'Courses, demonstrations and mobile workshops'.

Class numbers are restricted to maintain a quality of personalised tuition. So first come first serve.

Courses are charged at:

Unemployed - £45. per day

Low income - £50. per day

Medium income - £65. per day

High income - £85. per day

Some courses incurr a material cost, please check before booking.

July 10/11/12 - Table and stool. 

Learn some basic woodworking skills working with hand tools while making your own table. You will  use beautiful solid slab local timber for the table top to create a dazzling workpiece. Time permitting an accompanying stool can be made.

July 24/25 - Introduction to green woodwork.

Untertake a few small hands on projects to get an understanding of the subject.

August 10th - Parents and Kids.

A chance for children and thier parents to have some fun together while learning some woodland crafts in the woods.

August 17th - Parents and Kids.

A chance for children and thier parents to have some fun together while learning some woodland crafts in the woods.

September 28/29 - Bowl and plate carving.

Have a go at carving your own bowl or plate from fresh wood in the woodland workshop. 

October 2/3 Make a shave horse.

Further your green woodworking skills and leave with a shave horse you can use in your own time.
