Rocking chairs

The chairs are made from cleft wood and retain maximum strength. Allowing us to create delicate looking chairs that can take the strain of being used daily. 

The legs and back slats are steam bent prior to assembly. The proportions of bending are flexible to suit the customer. This allows us to get it just right, whether a more upright or reclined back support is desired.

This rocker is made mainly from Ash with oak rockers and weaved Wych Elm bark for the seat. Finished in olive oil.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This rocker is slightly more curvey with extra recline in the back. Ash body and Oak rockers. The seat is weaved cranberry shaker tape.
