Baby Rattles

 

"Let those babies sink their
      toothy gums into wood
   as they twist, slide

These simple and beautiful rattles are great for babies to play with and chew. Each rattle is slightly different having been made on a pole lathe. They help to develop motor skills and hand eye coordination with sound.

The non-toxic woods used, often wild cherry, oak, hawthorn and apple, provide a great array of pattern and colour. The natural texture of wood is superb for teething babies to help gently bring teeth through the gums. The rattles are finished with natural oils only, such as olive oil.
